§ Mr. Spellerasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will include, under the energy survey scheme, those surveys that include examination of energy saving by use of refuse-derived fuels.
§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithThe energy survey scheme will be replaced on 1 January 1984 by the energy efficiency survey scheme. The new scheme will be more flexible, and grants will be available for surveys of just part of a site or of a particular aspect of energy use. An examination of the use of refuse-derived fuels may therefore be eligible for grant support.
