asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish the net change in the number of jobs per Standard Industrial Classification order in Scotland since May 1979.

For the Standard Industrial Classification orders or groups of orders for which information is available from the published quarterly employment estimates, the table below sets out provisional estimates of the net change in the number of employees in employment in Scotland between June 1979 and December 1981.
