HC Deb 22 October 1981 vol 10 c192W

Mr. Morgan asked the Secretary of State for Transport what other offices of profit under the Crown, if any, are currently held by the chairman of British Railways; and what annual remuneration is received by him in respect of each such office.

Mr. David Howell:

Sir Peter Parker is also a member of the board of British Airways. The salary of £3,670 a year pertaining to that appointment is paid to British Rail and not to Sir Peter Parker.
