§ The Prime MinisterThe Government do not monitor pay settlements comprehensively or in detail. The following list shows the approximate level of the settlements for major groups reached in the public services in this round. In addition, the Government will implement increases for NHS doctors and dentists within an average of 6 per cent. Proposals for revised rates are being put to the professions.
