Mr. Rooker

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many letters his Department has received in respect of the period of 54 weeks that will elapse between the uprating of pensions and other benefits, in November 1979 and November 1980.

I understand that there have been some 1,500 letters and preprinted cards wholly or mainly concerned with this point.
