asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will call for a report from the chief constable of the Cumbria Constabulary on the deployment of police manpower at the demonstrations and disturbances which have been taking place at Siddick in Cumbria during the past month.

No. The deployment of manpower on these occasions is an operational matter for the judgment of the chief constable.
