Mr. Michael Brown

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to his answer of 27 October to the hon. Member for Newham, North-West (Mr. Lewis) Official Report, Volume 991, column 79, if he will undertake to collect separate statistics on the numbers of citizens of Afghanistan entering the United Kingdom in view of the current political importance of that country.
