§ Mr. MoyleIn addition to the views of the deputation from the "Friends of Haydock Hospital Action Committee" led by my hon. Friend earlier in the year, my right hon. Friend has received representations from Newton Constituency Labour Party, Haydock Conservative Branch, St. Helens Metropolitan Borough Council, the National Union of Mineworkers (North Western Area), the Transport and General Workers Union (St. Helens Branch) and 17 private individuals.
My right hon. Friend has now received and is presently considering a submission from Mersey Regional Health Authority recommending that the hospital be closed. Full account will be taken of all views made known locally and to the Department before any final decision is made.
