What is causing the delay to the opening of the remainder of the M5 motorway around Exeter; and when this road is expected to be open.

Delays have arisen from an accumulation of a number of relatively minor factors. Additionally, the recent wet winter has delayed the finishing works. It is expected that the motorway will be opened towards the end of May.
