The Government's plans for both nursery and further education provision for the years up to 1979–80 were set out in the last public expenditure White Paper (Cmnd. 6393). For 1977–78, however, they are subject to the measures announced by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer on 22nd July.
