§ Mr. Robert Sheldon,pursuant to his reply [19th March 1975], gave the following information:
I have noted the hon. Gentleman's suggestion and will bear it in mind. Information on which to base a precise calculation is not available, but it is estimated that the full-year cost would be of the order of £80 million for Class II and IV contributions taken together, and of the order of £25 million for the Class IV contributions alone.
