§ 21. Mr. Newensasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will inform the Chilean Government that Her Majesty's 217W Government will not be a party to the conclusion of any agreement on the rescheduling of the Chilean foreign debt until all political prisoners in Chile are either put on trial or released.
§ Mr. HealeyThe United Kingdom will not attend the forthcoming meeting of the Paris Club to discuss the re-scheduling of Chile's debts falling due for payment in 1975. Our attitude to any further requests for rescheduling—and, we hope, that of our fellow creditors—will take into account Chilean policy on human rights.
