§ Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list sums provided from EEC regional aid funds, or other official EEC sources, for use in Scotland, public or private, or for research projects in Scottish matters from the time of United Kingdom membership of the EEC to the latest date for which figures are available, set out by year and use.

§ Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) what proposals by EEC authorities for funds to be channelled from regional aid, or other officials EEC sources, to Scotland or into research projects on Scottish projects, have been vetoed by the Government since 28th February 1974;
(2) if he will make it his policy not to block funds from EEC regional aid sources, or other official EEC sources, which are directed towards use in Scotland.
§ Mr. William RossSince the present Government took office we have not sought in any way to impede the flow of EEC funds for projects in Scotland, and this remains our policy. We shall continue to identify suitable Scottish projects for EEC participation.
