§ Mr. William RossThe current school building programme is for the year 1st July 1974 to 30th June 1975, except in the case of nursery schools where is it 1st October 1974 to 30th September 1975. The total provision for this programme was revalued to current prices immediately prior to its commencement in July, and the revised amount is £69.3 million. Education authorities have been told that their allocations may be further adjusted in the light of building prices and the national economic situation, and the need for such adjustment is being kept under review.
