HC Deb 13 November 1974 vol 881 c128W
54. Sir Bernard Braine

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what were the reasons for the delay in reaching a decision on an appeal under Section 18 of the Land Compensation Act submitted on 9th April 1973 on behalf of an 80year-old man who is living in unsatisfactory housing conditions, about which the hon. Member for Essex, South East made representations on 4th July; when a decision will be reached; and if he will now instruct his officials that in processing such appeals in future they pay special regard to the age and living conditions of the appellant.

Mr. Oakes

I have written to the hon. Member about this case.
