§ Mr. CroslandThe US Environmental Protection Agency studies are far from conclusive and the agency did not suggest any change in present practice. For other reasons my Department commissioned studies of alternative to chlorination some time ago and these are still proceeding. The situation will continue to be kept under review by my advisers.
