§ Mr. Pinkasked the Minister of Overseas Development whether she will make a statement on the New York meeting to discuss help for countries worst hit by the oil situation, and whether she will make a statement on the European Communities' part in providing such help.
§ Mrs. HartI would refer the hon. Member to my written reply of 17th July and my oral reply of 22nd July to my hon. Friend the Member for Sheffield, Heeley (Mr. Hooley). I may add that, at the meeting of potential donors in New York on 15th July the United Kingdom representative made a plea for speedy action from the whole international community386W and emphasised the urgent need for the United Nations to publish a list of countries which it is considered should qualify for emergency aid.
