Mr. Newton

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will give for each regional health authority the population served at the latest available date, the number of new hospitals or major improvements, respectively, completed since the inception of the National Health Service, and the number of new hospitals or major improvements, respectively, expected to be completed within the next five years.
