§ 50. Mr. Skinnerasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he has now received the auditor's statements from all the local authorities that initially failed to implement the Housing Finance Act 1972.
§ Mr. CroslandThe auditor's reports are made not to me but to the local authorities concerned. I understand, however, that the audits for 1972–73 are still468W in progress in a number of cases; and that of the reports which have been made none has so far involved the making of surcharges arising out of late implementation of the Housing Finance Act.
