Mr. Bray

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he intends to ban the manufacture, import and sale of replica firearms, as recommended in paragraph 121 of the Green Paper "The Control of Firearms in Great Britain";

(2) whether he intends to introduce legislation implementing the proposals contained in the Green Paper "The Control of Firearms in Great Britain"; and if he will make a statement;

(3) what is his policy regarding the import and sale of replica firearms.

As I announced in reply to a Question by the hon. Member for Epping Forest (Mr. Biggs-Davison) on 2nd April, my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland and I have no plans to introduce early legislation on firearms, including replica firearms.—[Vol. 871, c. 333.]
