§ Mr. Carter-Jones
asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what special provisions he proposes to make regarding attendance at hospitals, housing accommodation and mobility of haemophiliacs: and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Alison
Local authorities customarily provide any necessary services for haemophiliacs as part of their arrangements for disabled people generally. As regards mobility, haemophiliacs in an eligible category already enjoy a special concession in relation to provision of cars under the disabled persons' vehicle scheme.
