Mr. Grimond

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if Her Majesty's Government will now propose that national fishing limits for all countries should be extended at the Law of the Sea Conference.

Mr. Amery

No. Her Majesty's Government will be working at the Law of the Sea Conference for a fisheries regime which reconciles the interests of both coastal and distant water fishing States.
