§ Mr. Rankinasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the disaster resulting in the loss of 67 lives which occurred at the football game at Ibrox Park, Govan, between Rangers and Celtic on 2nd January last; and if he will set up an open judicial inquiry into the causes of the disaster and 66W the methods whereby, for the future, the entry of spectators to football games, their presence at them and departure from may be adequately safeguarded.
