asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what subjects were discussed and conclusions reached in the recent Indo-British bilateral talks which ended on 21st January; and if he will make a statement.

The purpose of these periodic bilateral talks is to exchange views informally on a wide range of international questions as well as matters affecting only our two countries. The talks were conducted in a frank and friendly atmosphere which reflected the present satisfactory relationship between our two countries. The details are confidential.
