HC Deb 02 March 1970 vol 797 c1W
29. Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will keep under review the technical assessment of the effect of lachrymatory gases on human beings, in the light of the British decision to refuse to adhere to the United Nations Resolution on Lachrymatory Gases.

Mr. M. Stewart

All relevant technical information is of course kept under review. This is however a separate matter from the United Kingdom's position with regard to General Assembly Resolution 2603A (XXIV) on chemical and biological warfare, which I assume my hon. Friend has in mind.
