asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list the health centres now operating in Scotland, as well as those now under construction and those for which approval has been given; and if he will make a statement on progress in this field during the past six years.

Mr. Millan

Fourteen health centres are now operating in Scotland, eight are under construction and plans for 24 have been approved; in addition, 26 have reached the detailed planning stage and 24 other proposals are under consideration. Eleven of the 14 centres now in operation were opened during the last six years.
