§ Mr. Grieveasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether the Government accept Recommendation No. 594 on the development of modern language teaching in Turkey which was adopted by the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe on 26th January, 1970; and whether they will take action on the proposals contained in point 8(c) of this recommendation.
§ Mr. FoleyRecommendation 594 is acceptable to us in principle. We are now considering detailed proposals by the Council of Cultural Co-operation for the implementation by Her Majesty's Government of point 8(c) of this recommendation.
