§ Mr. Cleggasked the Minister of Transport what evidence he has of the number of commuters travelling to work from Fleetwood to Blackpool, Preston and East Lancashire; and what arrangements he is making for the improvement of travel facilities.
§ Mr. MarshThe 1966 Census indicates that each weekday from Fleetwood about 800 people travel to work to Blackpool and 140 to Preston. Figures for East Lancashire are not available. The improvement of travel facilities is a matter in the first place for the transport operators in the area but I have no evidence of any shortcomings in the present arrangements.
