HC Deb 25 January 1967 vol 739 c293W
Mr. John Wells

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what economies have been made in his Department since 20th July, 1966, in expenditure on hospitality and official entertainment.

Mr. Ross

All proposals for expenditure on hospitality and official entertainment have been scrutinised with special care having regard to the need for economy. The savings made cannot be costed without disproportionate effort and expense.
