§ Mr. Priorasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many vessels for which loans have been made by the White Fish Authority are in arrears of payment; what is the total sum of arrears; and what is the total sum outstanding to the White Fish Authority on loans.
§ Mr. Hoy:The owners of 57 trawlers and 46 inshore vessels are in default. Total arrears are £220,604 for the trawlers and £21,081 for the inshore boats. The total of outstanding loan principal on these vessels is £2,066,453 and the total loan outstanding on all vessels for which loans have been made is £14,164,033.
