asked the Minister of Labour how many men registered as fully unemployed in The Hartlepools have been offered industrial training courses in the past year; and what proportion of these was over 40 years of age.

During the 12 months ended 16th November, 1966, 27 men registered as wholly unemployed in The Hartlepools were accepted for training at Government Training Centres. Of these 22 per cent. were over 40 years of age.
