§ Mr. Onslowasked the Minister of Aviation what increase or decrease in staff there has been in the Department under his control since 16th October, 1964; and what increase or decrease he anticipates in the period up to 15th October, 1965.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsThere has been an increase of 70 in non-industrial staff since 16th October, 1964, and I anticipate a further increase of 400 between now and 15th October, 1965. Largely due to seasonal factors there has been a decrease of 200 in industrial staff since 16th October, 1964. I expect this to be made good and there to be a further increase of about 100 between now and 15th October, 1965. With the expected increases most branches of the Department will still be below complement.
