§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Prime Minister whether he will seek to make arrangements whereby hon. Members who are unable to be present to vote in person can submit their vote in writing to the Clerk of the House of Commons, provided such vote is delivered to the Table Office or the Clerk one hour before the actual calling of a division.
§ The Prime MinisterI suggest that the hon Gentleman should refer his proposal to the promised Select Committee on Procedure about which I understand my right hon. Friend the Leader of the House will soon be making proposals.
