§ 80. Mr. Sorensenasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if, in his final proposals for local government reorganisation, embracing both the London County Council and also local authorities in the extra-metropolitan area now known as Greater London, he will designate the new extended authority simply as the London Council, since the title of Greater London Council would imply the existence of another less or smaller local authority.
§ Mr. RipponMy right hon. Friend thinks "Greater London" aptly describes the area of this authority, but he would consider views on the title.
