§ 43. Mr. Lubbockasked the Postmaster-General if he will institute an immediate independent inquiry into the question of staff relationships within the Overseas Telegraph Service, in view of the existing discrimination against the union which represents the majority of employees in the industry.
§ Mr. BevinsThe question of staff representation in the Overseas Telegraph Operator grades was the subject of an independent inquiry which reported to me in December, 1960, and I do not think that a further inquiry now would be helpful.
