§ Miss PikeMy right hon. Friend plans to increase Post Office capital expenditure from over £130 million this year to over £150 million in 1963–64. This expansion and the growth of other work will lead to an increase of about 3,700 in the number of engineering staff employed by the Post Office during the year.
