§ Mr. Dempseyasked the Secretary of State for Scotland to what extent the salary of a state registered nurse is reduced when enrolled as a pupil midwife; if he is aware of the hardship this causes; and if he will consult the appropriate authorities, with a view to terminating this practice.
§ Mr. MaclayThe salary of a state registered nurse (or registered general nurse in Scotland) ranges from £525 to 125W £656 per annum.
