asked the Minister of Labour what was the number and percentage of persons unemployed at the April count in the Stornoway area, and the numbers unemployed in the islands of Barra, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist, respectively.

On 9th April, 1962, 1,425 or 25.5 per cent. and 95, 127, 19 and 68 respectively.
