HC Deb 14 December 1960 vol 632 c48W
78. Mr. Mulley

asked the Minister of Transport if he will arrange for the provision of a pedestrian crossing on East Bank Road, Sheffield, opposite St. Paul's Church, in view of the heavy traffic and the need for many children to cross the road at this point.

Mr. Marples

This is a matter for the local authority in the first place. The Sheffield Corporation has not so far submitted any proposals for a pedestrian crossing here, but if it does so I will, of course, carefully consider them.
