§ 80. Mr. Nabarroasked the Minister of Transport what progress has been made towards the construction of the Worcester Northern Link Road; and whether it will be opened to traffic at the same time as the motorway it serves now under construction between Lydiate Ash and Twyning.
§ Mr. MarplesI am at present considering the objections which have been made to the draft Order establishing the line of this road. Construction of the road cannot start until this and the other necessary statutory procedures have been completed. The road will not therefore be ready until some time after the opening of the motorway from Lydiate Ash to Twyning, which is at present under construction.
