Mr. Sorensenasked the Minister for Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs how many housing units have been built, are now being built, and are planned to be built, during the next twelve months in the County of Essex for or by municipal authorities outside their own boundaries.
§ Mr. H. BrookeDuring the post-war period up to 30th September, 1959, 24,721 dwellings have been provided in Essex by or for housing authorities outside their own boundaries. At the same date 317 additional dwellings were under construction. A further scheme for 305 dwellings has recently been approved but not started, while another scheme for 190 dwellings is expected to come forward shortly.
