asked the Minister of Works whether he will obtain technical advice to work out a practical scheme of heating Westminster Hall when it is used for official functions.

Mr. Bevins

My hon. Friend and his predecessors have had technical advice on the heating of Westminster Hall from time to time and, on more than one occasion, have heated the Hall for official functions. Adequate heating has, however, proved very costly.
