§ 117. Mr. Hamiltonasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what steps he has taken, or intends to take, to speed-up the investigation into the possibility of incorporating a road bridge in the structure of the present Forth railway bridge; and when a report can be expected.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydI do not expect a report before the New Year. The expert committee, however, are well aware of the urgency of their investigation, and that it is on their report that I shall decide whether to adopt Sir Bruce White's proposal or to authorise the improvement of the ferry facilities.
