§ 58. Mr. Simmonsasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance whether he will review the basis of war pension awards for loss of, or loss of use of, a limb, eye or other paired organ, in cases where serious disablement arises from non-service causes in the remaining limb or organ, and which renders the war disablement a much greater handicap than is reflected in the normal pension assessment.
§ Brigadier SmythThis matter is under review but my right hon. Friend regrets that he is not in a position to make a statement.
