asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what has been the United Kingdom's contribution, expressed on a per capita basis, to the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund in each year since the inception of the fund.

Excluding the United Kingdom share of the residual assets of the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration transferred to the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, which amounted to £1,650,000, the total governmental and private contributions each year amount to the following figures per head of population:
