§ Mr. F. WilleyIn pursuance of the understanding reached between my right hon. Friend's predecessor and Mr. Chiffley amout a 15-year contract for meat, negotiations are now taking place for the purchase of the whole of Australia's exportable surplus of beef, veal, mutton and lamb without limits as to quantity. Prices will be subject to annual review on the 235W basis of giving a reasonable return to the producers. Appropriate arrangements for the payment of quality premiums will be included.
