§ 21. Mr. S. Marshallasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why temporary traffic signs have been placed at the north end of The Avenue. Clapham Common, directing traffic to proceed along West Side of the Common a considerable distance to get to Northside, Clapham Common.
§ Mr. EdeI understand that these signs were installed in connection with an experiment designed to relieve traffic difficulties and danger arising at the junction of The Avenue and Clapham Common North Side; but as no noticeable improvement occurred the signs were removed on 13th April.
