asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer why, in view of his announcement on 22nd June, 1948, that visitors to this country might take moneys refunded on Customs deposits out of this country, visitors are still unable to do so.

Refunds are being made in accordance with the arrangements described by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer on 22nd June. If the hon. and gallant Member has any particular case in mind I shall be glad if he will send me information about it.
