§ 80. Mr. Pickthornasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether he is satisfied that the directive issued on 13th December last by headquarters, Military Government, resulting in a compulsory change in the chairmanship of the Central Committee for Education among displaced Poles, is in conformity with the terms of the U.N.O. resolution on displaced persons of 12th February, 1946.
§ Mr. J. HyndYes, Sir. There is nothing in the instruction to which the hon. Member refers which is inconsistent with the U.N.O. resolution. I am making inquiries into the circumstances in which the instruction was issued. Meantime I 355W cannot agree that it has resulted in a compulsory change in the Chairmanship of the Control Committee for Education.
