§ Mr. GrimstonThe number of depositors in the Post Office Savings Bank at the 31st May, 1942, was approximately 15,800,000 and the aggregate balance due to them was £901,714,000. The number of withdrawals during the year ended 31st March, 1942, was 24,546,000 and the amount was £120,924,000.
